Askhay Kumar offers martial arts training to visually impaired girlsLast year, Akshay Kumar – who was a professional martial arts trainer before he started acting – launched an initiative to provide free martial arts training for women, in association with Yuva Sena chief Aaditya Thackeray. His program has also expand to include a dozen visually-impaired girls, aged 16 to 28, who’ve been participating in classes for the past few weeks.

Wyandotte Martial Arts celebrating 40 year anniversaryClick thumbnails to enlarge Wyandotte Martial Arts opened its doors at 524 Oak St. 40 years ago this month. A celebratory open house was held last Saturday to introduce students to the courses the establishment has to offer. The club was started in 1975 as the Wyandotte Aikido and Karate Club by Master Gary Hasson.
